ED-E is a 3D printable home automation and monitoring system designed by Tyler Spadgens. The system uses the Intel Edison board and ESP8266 WiFi module to protect and control your home via a number of sensors capable of detecting fire, gas, air pollution, temperature change, humidity, and unusual sounds (such as a break in).
If the sensors detect abnormal activity an alarm is activated and an email alert is sent to the system user notifying them of the potential danger.
