heyshamsw Staff asked 3 years ago I’m using an ESP32 (ESP32-WROOM-32D) together with an VS1053 (DollaTek VS1053 MP3 Module Development Board) and Ka-Radio32 software to make and internet radio.I’ve managed to flash and re-flash Ka-Radio32 to the ESP32 quite a few times now.I’ve followed the instructions to wire-up the hardware, testing and re-wiring again and again – following instructions from several sources.I’ve not been able to get a sound out of the VS1053.When I monitored the ESP32 with “screen /dev/ttyUSB0 115200”, a line of output says, “vs1053: No VS1053 detected”.I thought the VS1053 was faulty so I bought a new one, but with the same result – not a sound.I’ve trawled the Internet for information but found nothing.Can someone here help?
