Ever since I started playing with the ESP8266 variations I’ve been longing for a proper Windows development environment. NOW I and others who are not keen on command lines can at last make a decent contribution! 15 minutes tops and you’ll be up and running. Instructions on the author’s site – I’ve make some correctional notes.
I’ve compiled and blown a variation of the AT command code using the latest SDK, blown it to an ESP-01 and the whole process took little over 40 seconds – all in a convenient,familiar environment. This is merely the beginning.
Please note I have tested this ONLY on Windows 7 64 bit
