Hello folks! I am proud to announce that my aREST library is now compatible with the ESP8266 WiFi chip! You can now get a completely autonomous $5 WiFi system that will respond to RESTful commands via WiFi. For example switching on a LED on pin 5 is as simple as going to a web browser and typing:

You can find more details inside the GitHub repository of the project (https://github.com/marcoschwartz/aREST) and also check the aREST website at http://arest.io/. Enjoy!
